Hi everyone,

Took the x90 out which is pretty much the production version today for its maiden.

Havent had time to install a govenor yet so I wasnt expecting too much performance.

This is the first tank the motor has ever had, tuning seemed good at settings from motor manual quite surprised, but no doubt can be fine tuned with further flights and when the engine is run in.

next flight ill dial it in a bit better, get the engine tuned, run 30% nitro (only 20% for first flight)and get a gov onto it.

setup im running
ys91SR long stroke pumped
8.18 gear ratio
headspeed ????
Rjx main and tail blades
jr 770t gyro 8900 servo

+- 14 pitch, 10 cyclic

Torque tube

all in all went very well for a quick test.

I loved the helicopter and the flying, but aren't you concerned with flying the maiden of an unproven 90 size helicopter new design at close quarters and at such close proximity to houses and residents?

Phil has been flying the X90 for quite a while throughout the design process and has put many flights on his prototype machines, this is one of the final production kits so it is a proven design, obviuosly he felt comfortable with it as his flying showed.
