I really like my 10/22...especially with a 100 round teardrop magazine.

I even have a trigger crank that willfire about 4 rounds with each turn of the crank. Makes that puppy sing.

Beltfed nice collection... I'm so jealous!! About the .22 though, I have a 10/22 and its rather finicky when it comes to ammo but when you feed it the stuff it likes it will make you happy. I had a marlin as well I can't remember what model but I want to say it was a marlin 60 and it would shoot about anything but was not as accurate as my 10/22 is.

I haven't tried the Marlin, but I am a big fan of the 10/22. It takes a few mods to bring them up to par, but once it is complete it is an amazing gun for a 22.

Ended up with a Model 60. Now I got to pull it apart and do a little trigger work tonight, feels like it has sand in it.

A buddy had a pistol that felt gritty when he first got it. just a few shots and it cleared right up.... might be worth a shot (bad pun sorry)

Ditto RP.

The triggers are just known to be like that, but with a little helicopter tool application its easily fixed. Still needs a few thousand rounds through it to loosen up, but at least now its light and crisp.

Just remember- Just smooth up what is there. For your safety and that of others NEVER dimensionally change anything!
A little goes a long way.

You don't want to end up with something that randomly fires full auto

Hmm, if I only had the 10/22 with 50rd clip Actually what I did was mainly a clean a polish with a little spring tweaking, standard and well documented stuff. Range is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, hope to get some rounds through it after that.

Given the prices, I think I will probably pick up a 10/22 next month as well. Might as well have both, right?

I've been wanting to put my 10/22 in a g36c/k stock for while here is a pic of one. Would make for a fun plinker.

Shot the 60 today with a cheapy Gamo scope(4X). Groups at 25 yards were insanely tight, halfway though a load and the center of the target was gone. 100 yards was a little harder, but I was using cheap ammo and it was very windy and gusty today. Overall a VERY nice gun for the money. Now for a better scope...
