You just gave me an idea.
on the swift head ,because of the shorter head block you can not get as much cyclic as the raven and hawk head before the control arms hit the grip so if you were to offset the flatspots and angle the control arms down that would give you more clearance for more cyclic.

And you can never have to much cyclic
Thanks for the idea
On my next swift build I'm going to try that and see if it works.
I have a swift 16 in a 12s power system in the plans . I'm just waiting for the flight power 25c 2500 6s batteries to become available.

My 550Carbon kit also has the flats milled at an angle. The Century heads are essentially copies of earlier X-Cell heads which angled the arms down each by about 10 degrees if I recall so I wasn't surprised to see this. I'm not going to get "wrapped around the axle" about it.

In fact Centuryman is right. At high cyclic rates the down angle will prevent the arms from hitting the blade grips. This is probably not much of a concern with the metal grips but with the plastic grips they may hit.

In anycase, the down angle worked perfect on my X-Cells so I don't see a problem. A downside is that you wont be able to use the flybar arms as a guide to level the paddles so you might want to get some flybar paddle guages. http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=805400

Speaking of throws.... What are you guys getting for top and bottom pitch. The most I can get is +/-10. To get that I have to lower my cyclic dual rates to about 75% otherwise I bind on the guide pins at the top and against that big A$$ mast stopper on the bottom. I think I can trim the pins a bit and use a different mast stopper but it looks like 11/11 with 75%DR is gonna be all I can get.
