| Figured it out...For the noobs out there like myself that is dumb and green in this hobby...DO NOT put the blade grip in backward, or your heli will not lift off. Even the pros at the hobby shop missed this IMPORTANT point. Here are my flight hours:
1 week on the Walmart Havoc. 2 minutes total on the Flight simulator here and there. 2 days on the POS Honey Bee King v2. NEVER got lift off the ground.
Was hovering the very first day unitl battery pack goes near 10 volt. (6 minutes). I was all over the place but at least I hover it. YEAH!(3 times that day) The rest is history.
1st crash: replaced Feather,Flybar, main shaft, two cheapass stock servos.
2nd crash: replaced feather and flybar. NO servo damage.
The hardest that I find about this hobby for the noobs like myself is the setup on the head to balance and track the blades. The most hardest for me is understanding the Radio...I still don't know or confused about swash mix, pitch and throttle curve, and all the confusing options on the Radio.
Hope I contribute something for other noobs on here.
Ifs not for this RTF B400...I would have quit this hobby. My next goal is fly the T-rex 600 but it won't be anytime soon.
Thanks for everyone help...this is a great site! |
