My favorite wedding present from my best friend is brand new T600N assembled by factory. Is my first no electric heli. I have started it up run nicelly but compare to videos here, sound like my goped. The head speed seem to be slow as well. Dont have any equipment to tach the head yet. What mean the last N at the name on the box? T600N ?

The N stands for "Nitro".

The older I get, the shorter my attention....... Oh look. A shiny penny..

Ops... Confused now!! Using only petrol and oil no Nitro, Should I add some percentage of Nitro?? It will make the head faster??

We don't have enough info to tell you. What engine, what pipe, what fuel, what radio and how have you set it up? Governor or curves? You need to tach the head and get her up to at least 1700+ for most engines. Oh and yes, most engines run better with at least 10% Nitro...

Could you post a picture/descritpion of what you are using for fuel? You might want to hit the local hobby store for a gallon of 30 percent nitro HELI GLOW FUEL and a few OS #8 glow plugs.

You can run a hotter plug at 15% nitro but I am not sure what # plug you need because I am a lemming that runs what all my friends do.

Hope this helps a bit.

Good point - the PROPER components of glow engine fuel are Methanol, 2 Stroke Model Engine Oil and Nitromethane. You can get it pre-mixed or mix your own. If this is not a piss-take post, then get some help from someone who knows what they are doing.

I'm at work now can't take picture. The exhaust is black square box. The engine does not have any mark. No idea what type the spark plug type is. I'm usimg 2 Stroke Engine Oil no Model got i from gas station and no Nitromethane. Engine starts well runs well. Radio is JR don't have governor yet. 1700 RPM?? Compare to my Hornet II spinning about 1800 this one spin maximum 1200 no more!!

hmmm your running gasoline huh?

OK What engine do you have in that there helicopter?

The 600N is setup by default normally for a glow fuel helicopter engine not a gas engine. If your using gasoline, you either have the wrong fuel, or your helicopter has a modified engine type in there like a small two stroke weed wacker engine. (possible, not very common, and not what I would call stock at all.)

Who built this helicopter? did he tell you to put gasoline in it?

Will an OS hyper even run on gasoline? I would be surprised if it did.

Seems like your putting us on here buddy.
I can see you signed up yesterday to this forum, so we know your posting as a new guy, but your either really in the dark about this hobby, or your putting us on.

The engine look same but does not have fixed pull starter like yours. I have to post the pull strater on the top and remove it when engine fired up.
