Robbe Cuatro - Millennium - Nova - Dyna-X > Need any kind of canopy for Futura SE

I need a canopy for the Futura SE. Does anyone have a new or used spare that they are willing to dump, or any suggestions where I might find one?

Alternatively does anyone know of any heli canopy readily available that will fit The Futura SE with or without modifications. Too large is ok but too small will be stressed and is undesirable. I believe the Millenium III may fit but alas, cannot find one.

Rons Heliproz is out, eRCMarket S&H-Too expensive. Not sure who else carries the brand.

Any help here would be terrific.

QWW has a generic one for the SE, i have one and it's not as good as the Robbe one, but satisfactory and made of glass. the plastic SS canopy fits also but you have to glue it together. i have one of those if anyone wants it. NIB Ron

Decided to make the canopy out of fibreglass.

After considering all options for this discontinued model, I decided to make my own canopy by building a mold, laying fibreglass and painting. It's not perfect because it is all truely hand made with no computerised assistance at all. Lots of labor, but it was a great project and lots of fun. Will take some pictures of the finished product.

Being a long discontinued heli, this Futura SE is my trainer, project and experimental device untill I tire of making parts, rebuilding bearing etc., and trying new designed configurations for different performance. Or untill I bury it. No money in it anymore, just time (yeah yeah...time is money), challenging tasks and very satisfying achievements.)

Money will go into high performance gas (most likely Predator) and a nice 90 (most likely next version JR).

Sorry a bit off topic
