Gidday, I have an old xcell 60 (1001)i want to fit a 60 size century/funkey long ranger body to it......I have 850mm from main shaft centre to tailshaft centre.
The century site say i need approx 930mm centre to centre.........will it fit or have century changed their design to suit 90 size....Ive done a search and posts were saying that the century fuses were designed around xcell 60 mechs.

Any advice welcome

Hello,

Back in the late 80's I had a Schleuter Long Ranger Fuselage with a Scout 60 mechanics and for the tail rotor I had to use a wire shaft because the tail was to long. Recently, I purchased a Funkey Long Ranger and it is the same Schleuter size and for the tail rotor I can not use the regular boom. I have to use the wire shaft running through a brass tubing.

you can get one with confidence that the xcell wil fit. i have done a couple of them and the xcell will fit fine in the 60 size longranger fuse.

I have build the x-cell 60 sport trainer fit into the minature aircraft long ranger without any modification at all ,mainsharft height got not issuse at all ,make sure u do set it to 3 degree forward .
