This is the first I've seen 610's being faulty. If they've never had an impact and are simply delaminating, call Century and return them. If they're nice enough, they'll give you a free replacement set. don't fly them though.

QuantumPSI,
Thank you for your reply. No impact to the blade. I will give Century a call and will see what is Century going to do.

That's not something we have seen with these blades. If they look like that, please stop flying them. Please PM me your shipping information. We'll get you a replacement set. I've sent you additional details via PM.

I have a brand new out of the box set that is exactly the same! A slim crack along both leading edges. Do I go back to my retailer in the US or Century direct?

For all the Rotortech Blades that leave our warehouse, we are surprised by the low amount of defective claims. Almost 99.9% of the time, the blades are damaged due to mishandling or shipping damage. This is not to say that these blades could be either of the above but they could fall into the .01% that actually have a defect that shouldn't have passed QA inspection.

JAGNZ: Since you are in New Zealand, please contact your local retailer where you purchased the blades from. They will contact their distributor who should take care of them right away as we back all our dealers/distributors. If your retailer gives you any problems, please let us know who they are and if possible, which distributor they purchased from.

I import 99% of my own gear, including these blades. Do you even have a New Zealand distributor?

I'll attest to the great service of these guys. Always been getting my blades from Heli-world and even though the guy on the other side is not very talkative the blades always show up a week or so later in good nick.

I've been lucky to discover a local importer for most of the range of blades now but my SG version blades I'll still be getting from Heli world in the US.

Excellent blades! Excellent service! What more can you ask for to keep your heli aloft?

Can anyone tell me where to buy Rotor Tech blades other than Century?
I have tried in the past but they require that you;

For orders $500 or less, we accept credit card payment. Please make photo copies of both front and back of your credit card and your most current statement.

and I am not prepared to send a hard copy of my full address and signature. I buy from all the other US heli sites with no problem.

Sorry to hijack what has clearly been a positive experience !!!!

HOW did you get those clear pics mate? I am using a Sony T9 and I simply cannot get a clear shot of the cracks like you. It cannot focus even in Macro Mode. May have to try my Nikon D70s.

It surprises me those RT blades being like that.

Century has always made right on any issue I have had with them. I took them a set of woodies that were unable to be balanced because of differences in weight. They give me a new set and apologized for my inconvenience. Because of this I will continue to be a customer.
