My brother has told me that he is giving me his 10-12 year old century gasser helicopter that has never been fully assembled and has some corrosion and rusty parts.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what gasser models century had about 10-12 years ago so that when I do get the model in my hands I can identify it and be able to try to track down some replacement parts that I'm sure it will need.

I'm sure that the advances in gyro and servo technologies have also been quite significant in that time frame, but I think I know what I want for those.

So please, if you can remember what gasser models were available in that time I would appriciate it. I'll update this as soon as I get the "heli" in my hands. I'll post some photos.

Are you sure it is a gasoline powered model or isd it a methanol/nitro/glow powered one, as I do not believe they made a big gasser heli 12 years ago.

It has a pull start and a typical spark plug and runs on pump gas/oil mixture.

He seems to be very confident that it is a century, but that makes my confidence level about 75%

The Predator gas is the only gas machine that Century has had that I know of.

Predator gasser been out since ~2005 (??)

My guess is you are looking at either a Kyosho or a Kalt. If you are really lucky you might have a MA 1005

Bergen's gasser was out then too. My dad has two of them plus an older MA gasser.

It may be a Century/Bergen gasser. The first Bergen Intrepid helis were a partnered project by both companies.

If memory serves me correctly, Century made most of the molded parts and Bergen made that machined parts.

I'll see if I can get ahold of him tomorrow. I'll bring my camera so that even if he changed his mind about giving it to me we can at least figure out what it is.
