I want a new radio for my 600n super nitro and cant decide between the 2 I dont really want to wait for the 10c if there is no real difference and I like the way that the JR is built in. What are the pros and cons for both radios (why one is better than the other etc.)I will also post in JR section to see if I can get any results. thanks

you said it.....the biggest difference right now is JR has their act together and can put the radio in your hands while Footaba is playing their availability game (sickening isn't it?).

on another note though, i know that the JR9303 has everything the 10C has but you cannot assign functions to the switches like you can with the 10C

9303 is 2048 not 9303 that will do 72 mhz it 1024 and the 10c is 1024 like the 9c to get 2048 in a Futaba
you will have to go to 12Fg or 12z or 14z

Lets do the time warp againnn !

The 10C will have 2048 resolution when used with R608 and 6014 rx.

9303 will only have 1024 resolution when used with AR7000,AR6200,AR6100.

No one has a 10C in hand yet. So the opinions here are just speculation.

The 10C is 2048 in FASST mode, contrary to the posting here. The x9093 is 2048 with a 9+ Channel rx. Absolutely no reason at all to favor one or the other.

The 10C is a jump similar to the 9303 over the 9C. It takes all the major functions and just goes a shade further. It's the advantage of coming to market later.

Where spektrum/jr is really shining right now is on releasing new and innovative products. The 9100ar, 7100, 7100r, 6300, 5023 reg, New 10A reg. All of these products address the niches for Heli, GS, F3A, and many of the higher end (serious?) sides of the hobby. Futaba pretty much says here is the big rx or the small one. Take em or leave em (oversimplified slightly).

If Futaba had their act together on rx's, they were a little more proactive and innnovative, and brought their costs in line. I'd dump my x9303 for a 10C in a second. But they have a long way to go.

Here's a link to the 10C features: http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk9250.html

Here's the 9303 features (not terribly thorough): http://www.horizonhobby.com/Product...?ProdID=JRP2925

If the 10C had been around months ago I'd have bought it. Heck if the 12FG had been released on time (October) I'd have bought it. In the meantime I own a x9303 and Horizon has been kind enough to give me $400 in rx's. Not a bad deal at all.

I'm gonna hold off on either til I hear how the 10C performs when it hits the market. We'll see.

Hi Saleh,

I think is the other way around, the lock out/brown-out issue is related to JR/Spektrum.

Im not sure but read a lot on forums etc. It looks like both Futaba and spekrum suffer from the same problem (lock out / brown out). Main problem is that modern digital stuff needs un-interupted power supply and many of the BECs´ dont always give this 'clean power' voltage.

Spektrum has solved the problem with the new 'quick connect' feature, I upgraded my Rx´s to this and if you cut power on the on-off swith back and forth as fast as you can, while manouvering (for example) the aileron then the interrupt in the control is very short, Id guess less then 1/10 of a second. Somebody on this forum claimed he´d measured it to 0.07s. I dont know, but its really quick.

I dont know the time (time that it wont follow the Tr commands) for this in Futaba, but im sure that they will do the same type of upgrade if its needed.
I have over 1000 flights with 3 spektrum Rx´s and it so fare worked 100% perfekt.

I know that Spektrum is really good, and I think Futaba is(or will become) as good.
So, I believe that you dont need to make the choise of brand by which has the best teqnique. Both will work real nice.

Yeah Spectrums so good they've had to add capacitors to their Rx to avoid brown outs, and they tell you this after you crash. My buddy had a problem with the 9303 and the AR9100s when using 120* degree swash mixing it would lose the Aux channel after arming but worked fine with the AR7000s. So much for cyclics huh?
