I am having a problem with the TT length being about an inch too long which keeps the tail boom from fully engaging into the mainframe.I left the taildrive assy loose and try to assemble and the TT pushes the tailgear drive assy out of the tailboom.I have read on the discussion pages of problems with the boom being too short but not the TT being too long.I am at the point of shortening the TT but thought I would ask for suggestions first.

Sounds more like you do not have it engauged into the slots on the ends for it to be to long or your trying to use a 30 size boom

MEASURED LENGHTH OF THE TT IS 25&15/16"AND BOOM LENGTH IS 25&9/16".ARE THESE THE RIGHT DIMENSIONS?

You have to drive it in with a hammer..

It's OK....It's not your fault !!!

loosen off all the bolts that hold the tail to the frame first before you start hammering gently, It should fit by hand if all the bolts are loosened.

You don't have the wrong tail boom. When i was boulding mine i ran into the same problem. Just give a good, and i mean good push and it will slide in.

The Raven boom is 28" long. So yes, if yours in 25 9/16 it is the wrong one.

OOPS, miss read his post. The way he described it would be a result of his boom being to short

My bad
