Hi All

I'm updating/upgrading my Align EC135 scale for navigation light. Anyone know or have a picture of the position, color and type of navigation lights?

If I'm not wrong, one red on the left of the horizontal wing, green on the right, strobe light on the top of the fenestron tail and one strobe on each side just behind the side door. The rest I not sure. I also not sure what color is the strobe light. Is it white?

hi

going by my air ambulance the lights are as follows

red left horizontal fin

green right horizontal fin

white strobe top of tail fin/in fact it is a red strobe when on the ground and white strobe when in flight

white landing light front of heli
white retractable landing light under pilots side floor

the strobes on the sides behind the rear windows are used on the poilce version our air ambulance dont have these it depends what type you are doing

I didn't know the top tail fin is Red on ground and white in flight. Learn something new today

BTW, Is it there is another white (normal) pointed at back, just about the end of the top tail fin?

try going on the eurocopter website they have downloadable PDF files for every heli they sell, it has all the options and diagrams for antennas, lights, interiors, and cockpit layouts. i do belive you have to look on the eurocopter USA website for the info though.

yes your are right there is a white soild anti-collision light at the top rear of the tail fin/the tail strobe has a doulbe light in it red for on ground and white in flight its controled by the pilot and is part of the pre-flight check list we go though before we lift
just a bit of info for you good luck with your lighting set up on your ec

Thanks Paul and reaper31 for all the info. So far, I already install the top rear anti-collision light, top Red strobe (choose red only at the moment..until I can come out a way to change color), Red and green on the side and white strobe light on the side (my heli theme is OAMTC EC-135..which it has side strobe light) as well.
