Hey guys, have a Tiger 50, did the first run with it today, and while on the ground, rotating the disk checking directions, when I push the stick forward, the disk tilts forward and to the left? when pulling back, it tilts back and to the right.

Any Suggestions?
thanks

Sounds like a phasing issue but not sure how it could occur (????) Check to make sure the phasing pins are inserted in the washout assembly properly.

If EVERYTHING is as it should be on the head (go through and give it a good once over...referring to the manual)...I'm betting you are seeing several things happening on the ground that won't add up to any mis-handling in the air.

1. Gyroscopic procession:

2. Ground Effect:

3. What was the relative crosswind conditions?

Point is...probably nothing wrong...reread the first line and go fly!

Good luck

it really tied the room together

I would say you have your CCPM setup wrong. I would swap servos on chan 1 and chan 6 and see if that gets thing working in the right way.

Wedge,

I don't want to sell you parts because of a simple mistake! Worse, I don't want to see a fellow quit in frustration, so let's get this right before you try to fly!

Look, with the model on the workbench, forward stick should tilt the swashplate purly forward and aft should tilt it purely aft. Right cyclic should move the swashplate purely to the right, and vice versa to the left. There should be no forward or aft component to the side to side cyclci input. Get this correct before attempting flight!

Contact me via email if you need more help, or give me a call.

John, thanks for getting back, I think everything is fine, my swash is moving exactly as it should, and after posting on the main discussion board I found out the reason for my query. btw, the Tiger shows what good engineering can do for a reasonable price. I like it ALOT. If it flies as good as she builds, I'll be fine, which after all the reading I've done, it will fly awesome I'm sure. Thanks again

Machinehead, hillbilly, and dude, thanks for the input, I believe all is well, as soon as the rain stops (if it ever does this year) Ill give her a go and get back, thanks again everyone
