| STEP 7-1 ROTOR HEAD SETUP in the manual does a pretty good job of explaining what each position does as far as less and more responsive.
We have expirimented with MA Xcel 3D paddles and had a little bit of pitchiness, also trie Rotortech carbon paddles and they were very agressive, we are now running 95mm V-Paddles, Rotortech 610 mains and RJX 92mm tails with very impressive results.
We are currently running in the middle hole on the grip pitch arm, middle hole on the seesaw, rear hole of the 2 side mixing arm and middle of the three hole mixing arm with the three hole toward the grip, we also have the mixing arm parrellel with the grip, this give my son a very locked in feel and is comfortable for his flying style, I've seen folks move the 2 hole mixing arm to the inner hole which will speed up the cyclics and if you move the three hole to the outside will give you the most agressive setting on the mixing arm.
Washout arms are in the outter hole.
This will give you a starting point and I know the setup we are running is very stable in FFF and the cyclic's are pretty quick, my son has a very smooth 3D flying style from one manevour to the next and this setup allows the heli to perform to that style, others like a more agressive reaction, so your going to have to experiment a bit to get the feel you like
