Now seriously 3Dx... isn't this a market opportunity for you? I mean... there isn't one thumb screw that fits the vibe 50 canopy. Not even the JR ones fit... why dont you make some and sell them?

I even have the design and measuraments. Only need a guy with a CNC to make a prototype and test it

Ok Guys, Raul (The World class canopy Artist) promised me this time he will paint canopies not only for local market, so be prepared!!!!

I will be the prototype guy; he will send me 4 different canopies designs so I take pics and post them for-you…….yes FOR FREE!!!

Have you tried the new Synergy thumbscrews? I tried my old ones last night and the grommet hole is too small for anything larger than the 3mm screw. My old Synergy thumb screws were modified with a small piece of brass tube over part of the 3mm screw and it was too thick. I'm wondering if the hole could be reamed out a little so larger grommets like the Synergy or Knight could be used.

im using a larger grommet sorry forgot to say that, but yes use a slightly larger grommet so it fits in.

i used some grommets from radio shack which has a bunch of sizes in it not sure what size they are, but will try and post a pic here later on today

I already knew that Inkspot. NONE is a perfect fit without mods. I'm sending the specs I found to work to 3Dx. Maybe he gets some free time.

The outer diameter of the thumbscrews can't go over 10mm or it will hit the canopy.
