I like the shape and placement of this one. It just needs to slide down a tad bit so the bottom is level with the bottom plate and it would look slick. It doesn't need to look like a Synergy or Aurora. This design has a similar ark to it of the previous Freya lines which is nice to see.

Better yet:

The Hirobo Blind Swordsman!!! Hirobo Zatoichi!!

He can fly the heli blind and then design a better canopy!

Actually the canopy on the finished heli doesn't look bad.

Glad you told us. That will likely keep us from coming up with new ones. I can't hear you blowing a police whistle but I can imagine that is probably what you are doing right now.

For those who find the price of the Hirobo turbulence 3d too high, hirobo has created another variant of the Freya. The Freya Evo Option II. CCPM, 91T main gear and a SSZ IV rotor head, which should be the exact same head on the Turbulence 3d.

Pricing for the USA has not yet been determined on the Turbulence. MRC has not determined whether or not we will be importing the Freya OpII SWM machine to the USA.

As soon as I have more pertinent information I will make it publically known. Thanks for the patience everyone!

Well, then, as a matter of feedback, please count me as one pilot that flies Hirobo that would dearly like to see the OPII for sale in the US!

Anyone else?

Did you all see Dominik's flights on rrTV from the XFC,
The Heli looks much better in real life than it does on paper.

That Red canopy looks awesome to me!

I would have called Hirobo's new 90 the "Cyclone" - A spinning killer.

Also, Leif's concept canopies were outstanding - sharp and sleek is the way to go.

Turbulence D3 seems like a bit of a compromise.

Little dissapointed in the aesthetics but it's the performance for the price that will determine it's place in the hobby.

Still, a nice heli

I have the EVO 90, which is a great 90, so I am an Hirobo fan. I started with the Shuttle, progressed to the GPH 346 and now the EVO 90. Hirobo has always had great quality for the price. Available upgrades where super quality but pushed the price beyond top of the line 50's and 90's that start out with "upgraded" parts in their high end kits.

Another heli I still fly is the Futura SE. That was a heli ahead of its time in the early 1990s. Unbeatable quality, ruggedness and durability. Oh, and it still flies very very nicely too after 3,600+ flights !

The EVO 90 is still too much for me, so I am not ready to buy another 90....yet.

Happy flying

LOLLY:

I agree with you on "Cyclone, a spinning killer" having a good punch !
but is not political correct, specially for those who have been through
this type of adventure, ( in Mexico we call them cyclone when a category 5 huracan).

"turbulence 3 d" not being the ultimate name, yes indeed.

Nevertheless is all academic now, less hope for a better name on next project !
