Hi I was wondering if this is normal. I usually fly my Blade 400 outside everyday and when I charge the battery and inspect the helicopter before putting it away I see dead bugs on the rotors blades is this normal or do bugs get sucked in to the rotors or they just fly right into them?
How about a Acorn?? I was hovering it out under a large oak tree and a acorn fell, Hit the blades and it game back at me like a bullit! (No BS) (It nicked a good set of blades...)

COME ON NOW....your stories are starting to sound like Helimans..
Like the nut flew at you...bounced off of a car window...hit the side of a building...then hit a Bald Eagle... then proceeded to fly up and hit a 747...which then caused it to zoom into outer space and hit the International Space Station...sending it off course.. and plummiting to earth... right in front of your eyes....
But there were no survivors because you could not see anyone moving inside.
I like your story, maybe we should keep it going...... I was wondering how long or who would've said something about it! LOL

The teenage bugs will get on the blades as you spool up and dare each other to hang on as long as possible. Very dangerous game and I went as far as to put tiny warning signs on my blades. They can't read but it makes me feel better that I at least tried to warn them.

Try night flying. My blades come back covered after a flight. And then mix it with some nitro and you have a real mess. Joe

I hit a 17year Cicada with my TREX 450.....sounded like a gunshot. Heli wobbled while I brought her down....she was ok.
