I have an imax B6, it works fine after a small problem. During transit from H.K. to the UK a small coil came unstuck from the board, I had to scrape the coatinf from the circuit board & resolder using tiny wires, but it cured it & she works fine. It does need a good power supply, something like 7A @ 13.8V for 6S batteries.

Strange,

My friend got one as well and a small coil came off from the board, could not be solder back on, it was too much to get it back to HK so we decided to risk it and charge some batteries so far it been working good, display glitched once.

ZAW, seems like a weak link in the design, the coil sits right next to another small coil, had to strip some old telephone cable, scraped the red coating from the tracks & soldered it back on...took about 1 hour of steady messing but seems fine now.
