I have a mars 480 with the gy401 gyro. the recomended tail gyro for it will not fit and I do not want to mount it on the boom cause I think it will throw off the center of gravity. What is a good mini or micro tail servo? Also, can I put a servo other than a futaba servo with the gy401 e.g. JR DS3400? Thanks.

You can use other servos but I think its best to stick with the brand of the gyro. The 9257 is a mid size servo by futaba
