If I put holographic decals on each blade tip, does it not throw
the blades CG way out of balance? Or should I put them on both
sides of CG for each blade?

You'll do just fine with the decals on the tips. I've seen a lot of heli's with them and there is no issue.

The blade CG's simply need to match each other, and if you move the CG out a small bit for 1 blade, just make sure to move it the same amount for the other blade also.

What PilotDaz said is right. I use them, I think they look cool. Make sure that both are the same distance for the tip and sides and go fly.

I wish I could fly 24/7

Ok. Thanks a lot. Just checking. The sun is very bright here and thought would be nice for summer flying.

Looks nice but doesn't give you that shiny look you see on pictures. I put two of those stickers (from KSJ) last week and you definitely see a glare during tic tocs but nothing extremely spectacular. Maybe I got the wrong decals?

I was just going to try the prismatic reflective tape at the edges
on 680 carbons . The width is 1 1/2 inches.

I bought some holographic vinyl from ePants & cut up shapes myself, far cheaper & works superbly. Cost...only a few bucks & enough material to cover a whole heli

Blade Graphics

Using the decals made by CanopyFX. (called BladeFX) you WILL get the holographic design in the rotor disc in the sunlight. This is one of the reasons CanopyFX uses the materials they do.. Other brands may give a reflection but not always the holographic design as seen in this picture of my Trex 600e.

The decals will also work fine on nitro birds. However they will start to peel off after 15 or 20 flights. I recommend clear coating over the blade with a fuel prrof clear to seal the decal edges. a light coat is all that is needed and the decal will last the life of the blade.

tech Tip of the month.. Make sure your RX & TX packs are fully charged before you leave the house!!

I degreased my blades before putting them on and dont have any peeling problems ,I suppose that could depend on the style of the decal.if it has narrow sharp corners it will probably lift easier.
