Audacity Models Pantera 50 - Tiger 50 > Ordering parts

Had my first crash in Huntsville last weekend. So this is my first time ordering parts and I see there are no pictures for most of the parts on the website. Is this a temporary problem? Looks like I'll go dig out the manual and start looking and matching up part numbers. Seems like a very outdated system in this day and age.

Working on a new website, which will have all parts photos. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I feel you J.D. There is probably other stuff I'd buy from John rather than other vendors but you can't tell what he's selling. He says there is a new website coming that'll take care of all that. In the meantime, grab your parts breakout and figure out what you need. Even then you'll have to have a conversation with him because part numbers don't always match. Figure out what you need and call him. He'll get you the right stuff.

There's only really an issue with Tiger part numbers, not Pantera part numbers. This is because we were forced to change part number prefixes to play ball with the rest of the hobby industry by the trade association. Marty's right, call me if you're confused.

The short story on Tiger part numbers (not Pantera parts) is:

1. The AH prefix is changed to AUD
2. The 05xx part numbers changed to 00xx
3. And hardware, i.e. bolts, washers, etc. changed to the numbering scheme in the Pantera, i.e. an AUD3015AH means it's a 3.0mm x 15mm Allen Head, i.e. and thus it's easy to figure out what you need without referring to a catalog. Similarly, an AUD30FW means it's a 3.0mm Flat Washer. Anyway, this is all explained in the Pantera manual at the very front.

Thanks for the reply. It's not like it's going to kill anyone to dig up parts numbers, you know we are just spolied! Can't wait for the new website.

...and John cleared something up too. My last parts order was tough because it was for the Tiger and like John said, the Tiger part numbers don't match his website. THAT had me all turned around. On top of that I was trying to match the parts up to the comparable Pantera parts because I'm modifying the Tiger for faster cyclic, this wasnt a crashed heli parts order. Anyway, an updated Tiger manual/parts breakout would clear that part number thing up. Photos on the website would fix the rest. I too welcome the new website.

Use JB's site. He reviews each order to make sure you are really ordering the parts you need.
Hows that for customer service.
