got a 3s 2200 TP pack that the black wire has pulled out of the balance plug on it. Any suggestions on repair? Do I need to get a whole new plug or can I somehow get that wire to stay in the plug without risking shorting something out and frying the pack?

I've found a company here that stocks the balance plugs and the little thing inside so I can make up or replace balance plugs quite easily.Once you have the little pieces it's a simple repair, if a little fiddly.

Thanks for the reply,

I'm diggin around on the net to try to find a local source for the parts. If nothing else, I'll give thunder power a ring and see if they can't set me up.

You might want to ask how much TP would charge for the repair. It might well be covered under warranty as those connectors are not supposed to fall apart!

I'm going to call them first thing this morning. I'm pretty darn careful with all my lipos, especially plugging and unplugging them. I didn't do anything to cause it to fall apart, looks like the wire just fell out of the hole...not broken or anything.

It's a v1 pack that is probably 6 months old now so we'll see what they can do for me.
