Audacity Models Pantera 50 - Tiger 50 > Headspeed and throttle curves

I'm trying to get my normal and idle-up curves dialed in before I put a governor on it. This is what I have:

Normal: 12, 18, 33, 49.5, 65
Idle 1: 80, 60, 50, 60, 80

I had a guy tach it in both modes during a hover and the normal came out to over 1900rpm while idle up was just over 2100rpm. We talked for a bit and we thought these numbers seemed quite high for where my curves are...Thoughts?

The headspeeds are definitely high for your curve numbers...
Are you sure the throttle servo travel is set correctly from 0 (closed) to 100 (full open), AND is the geometry correct?
That means that both servo and throttle arms closely follow the same travel, with both at 90deg to the link arm at center.

I will go back through and check that out. I setup the throttle back in December.

On my throttle curve, I have my low at 8. Anything higher and the clutch starts engaging.

I'm gonna go back through and reset everything to get 90 everywhere with a linear curve. Should I do it all with the throttle trim set at full low or at mid trim? If I used

I'd use mid. You'll hate yourself if you need a few clicks of down and you have nothing.

I was thinking, should I set my low point at 0% with the trim tab all the way down? That would make the engine fully closed and then I would raise the trim for idle? Yay or nay?

That is the way I have mine and it works well that way. If I need to shut down the motor w/out hitting the fuel clamp I can do it with the trim.

I meant to do that!!!
