I have a futaba T9CHP tx that is capable of PCM1024. Right now it has the FM module in it. I also have the matching Rx. I have one hawk pro on this radio. I have another hawk pro with Os 50 hyper to put in this radio and also a vario bell 204 w 26cc. I need to buy 2 receivers but i was wondering if it would be worthwile to go to PCM module and receivers?? or should i just stick with straight FM.

You module has nothing to do with FM/PCM. Actually FM should be referred to as PPM. PPM and PCM are both FM. You select PPM or PCM in the model memory settings. Your module will do both. Just decide which mode you want to use and get those recievers.

BTW - the 9CHP is 8 channels in PPM mode and 9 channels in PCM. The ninth channel is not proportional, just on/off. Also when changing from modes the PPM or PCM will flash in the display to remind you to power off and back on to set.

so i could run one machine in ppm and then go buy the pcm receivers for the other two airframes and call it good?
