Came across a 1988 GMP Legend helicopter on craigslist in vancouver. Called the guy and asked about it and decided it was a pretty good deal. It was never flown and came with the original gyro, receiver and servos. The condition is really good. I decided to finish the build that was started 20 years ago and never got finished.

Does anyone here on runryder have any parts that they are willing to sell cheap or any of the original paperwork in original form? Would love to get this heli flying.

Also looking for any working 6 or more channels remote for flying helicopters.

What kind of parts are you looking for? I might have an original manual, but I belive they are available as free downloads on line.

look towards the bottom of this web page for the manuals, drawings, parts lists, etc.

Best way to get parts is to watch eBay and Craigslist for another complete or semi-complete heli. Buy them cheap and cannibalize parts as needed. Unlikely to be able to find / buy individual parts these days.

Have you flown an RC helicopter before? If not this is not the machine to start with. As you can see there are no more parts availible for this machine.

I would wait restore it and buy something a little more up to date. For parts deff check ebay they are on there alot of the time. That's were I find all of my parts.
