I had one those canopy breakaway supports break in flight on saturday, is horizon replacing those?

Don't know, mine seems pretty solid. Did it cause a crash?

I hope they fix it. I've read that others who have had the same problem.

My Vibe 50 went down yesterday after the tail pinion gears stripped do to some slop. After taking it apart, I realized its costing me close to $300 to fix it.

It sucks not flying. I'd hate to go through this again because the canopy breaks off.

If you touch my heli, I'll triangle choke you!

No I didnt crash because the other one held the canopy, but you could hear the canopy vibrate.Sorry to hear about your crash. I have 8 flights on mine now. I have no complaints, other than the conopy support and spare parts.

Just went through a tree and crashed into some bushes and the canopy supports survived (and every else too btw

)

Mine broke where the bolt hole is for the canopy support, its possible that it may have been fractured when I got it.

When I crashed my vibe 50, the canopy supports held together like champs surviving the crash. I’m now up to about $300 in repairs so the supports might be better now or I had a small amount of luck when I crashed.

I had to make one out of CF yesterday, very easy to make, mine cracked on one emergency auto two weeks a go.
also main shaft still on order had to use a Hirobo main shaft and it worked great for now until I get the right shaft from Horizon.

Keno, It's more of a pain in the butt to put together than the Align but it flies incredible. Try it out first with the stock paddles WITHOUT the weights.

It weighs right at 3/4 of a pound more than an identically equipped Align 600 nitro. But for my type of flying I really like the weight. It plows right through prio loops and piro funnels. You cen get it flying so fast through a piro funnel that it turns into a pirouetting hurricane.
