A friend of mine from Philadelphia had his Fury Tempest stolen last night from the back of his E450 box truck (used bolt cutters to cut the padlock) which also had his 43% aircraft in it as well that they thankfully did not take. All local hobbie shops are being notified. Heli has the standard orange and yellow paint fade w/MA stickers. Please keep an eye out on ebay.

Everyone in the local PA and NJ areas keep a look out. It is likely that this was taken by someone who doesn't know what they have. Someone is going to show up at a local field with this heli and not know what it is or how to use it.

Trocks: Can you post specs? It will help when checking ebay, craigslist, RR and helifreak.

Sorry again about your loss. I'm a good friend of the owner and can say that this bird flew very well. It is a very nice piece.

If the person who took it doesn't know anything about helis(most likely) I would check local pawn shops, ebay, and craigslist. check the paper also. I don't think you're going to find it on RR or HF.

Tempest...

"T" I contacted several friends in Philly yesterday to have them keep a look out for your bird. If you have the time hit as many pawn shops as you can tomorrow. Hit your local ones first with a photo make it hard for the bastards to unload. Make them leave the city.

Maybe push them to hit a local flying field.

it flat out sucks getting your heli stolen. one small advantage that you have is that anything rc heli related has a tight knit community and it would be kinda hard for someone to sell it at a hobby shop or ebay without being spotted. wish you the best of luck.

No i havent flown before but I did stay at a holiday inn last night.
