HIROBO Freya - Sceadu - Shuttle > Evo 90 Cyclic Control Over reactive

I am still fine tuning on my Evo 90. I find the cyclic control too reactive that I have to reduce the end point adjustment on my JR tx from +/- 100% to +/- 75% for both aileron and elevator. Otherwise, just a slight touch on the right stick will result in a very big movement on the swash. Do you guys have this issue? Should I keep the EPA at +/- 100% but instead adjust the dual/exp rate control?

Not sure on your radio but I had the same thing on a Raptor 90. I added expo until it felt good. Also lowered my cyclic to 6 degrees. Then later I bumped up the cyclic and removed some expo.

Worked for me anyways.

Try some expo; I use about 30% or so on the cyclic on both of my Hirobos. Even still, on my Freya 90 the response is still too quick with MAH 690 blades and weight-less paddles, so I have ordered some weights to calm the cyclic down a little more.

we try to find a bird which have a big movement with small touch. it is a good thing. cause later on u will want a bird which is very fast on cyclic.

Fly the way i want => IRON NUT

I have an Evo90, when I got it the paddles did not have any weights in them I had the same issue. We had a hirobo rep at one of our funflys Ryan from Oklahoma and he helped me out. With the stock paddles and no weights the heli is to fast on cyclic. If you use expo it will slow it down around center stick. I would recommend not changing your EPA'S from +/- 100% because that changes the amount of cyclic throw. If the heli is to fast on cyclic,I would add the weights to the paddles you have or change them for different ones. This is just my 2 cents from my setup,I currently run V-Paddles and they fly just right for me. If you do use expo I would suggest around 20-30% on aileron and elevator as a starting point. I hope this will help you with your setup.

ive been using 95mm v-paddles. they are a little quicker than the stock paddles w/ just the lead weights but the v's are a whole lot nicer in forward flight using a flybar ratio of around 85%.

Check you mixing arm setting and make sure it's set on high stability before anything else and go from there.

Instead of adjusting expo and EPA, I am now decreasing the dual rate. It does slow down the response by inhibiting the swash movement.

You may also want to try the longer flybar.

Darno, a longer flybar will make it more responsive, he wants to tame it down.
