I am using an 2221-6v2 and an eflite 40 amp pro esc with flight power evo lite packs the esc and motor dont get hot but the packs seem excessively warm what temp should i expect and what is to hot thx in advance

I think FP says over 170 is damaging to the cells, you'd have to get on there website and check. That 2221-6 is supposed to be a monster motor and it needs high discharge cells. The evolites are like 18 or 20C right, might want to look at some 25C batts.

Make sure there is no binding and that your belt isn't excessively tight
