Yes, It also depends on when you bought your imac because if you bought yours right after Leopard came out they should have given you and drop-in upgrade disc with the imac so that you can run leopard, and that way you dont have to download bootcamp it is already pre-installed on leopard. When i got my imac we bought it like a week or so later after leopard came out so I got the drop in disc for the imac only. I have Phoenix on my imac with vista and it works fine. My imac is the 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo version with 1 GB of Ram and the ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro. It should run it fine but I would probably first go look through the box and see if there was any other disc with leopard on it , thats if you bought it after leopard came out.

nemo uk, it has the hd2600 all updates done through apple, would the drivers get updated with the efi firmware updates?

Jesse Kavros, I bought my imac a year before leopard came out, mine has the same specs as yours except the graphics card is the hd2600 not the pro. Im pretty sure it didn't come with leopard.

Yeah if leopard didnt come out before you bought your imac im pretty sure you wont have the drop in disc for leopard. It seems like the only way would be to buy leopard but that is your choice considering its some were around $130.

I'm not sure why you're saying he needs to buy Leopard. I was running Phoenix under Bootcamp on my Mac long before Leopard came out. This was on a Macbook Pro. As long as you've gotten hold of a legitimate copy of the pre-Leopard version of Bootcamp for your Mac, then that shouldn't be the problem. The driver update from AMD that someone else linked to could possibly do the trick though.

Well i dont know im just saying that it might have something to do with it but I guess not considering you've done it without leopard installed. Not trying to say that Leopard is absolutely needed I just thought it might have something to do with it, that's all.

Ok downloaded the new driver on the mac side its on the desktop I dont know what to do with it,so I burned another drivers disc in bootcamp praying it would pick it up. Booted into xp and did the repair but still getting the same error, still scratching for clues.
