Real stupid if you ask me. If he got hurt it would just fuel the heli haters and the anto rc people even more to try and ban our toys.

talk to my dad

who last his left thumb to a DA150 with a carbon prop last year. Buttoning a shirt is now a chore. But hey - he has figured out how to still fly both planks and helis!!! Took that thing right off at the base of his palm. Still having surgeries a year later. No FUN at all...

dartdodo, very funny... complaining about posts in the safety forum talking about safety. And if you weren't trying to be funny, how's about you don't go to the safety forum if it bothers you so much?

Although a nice looking flight, IMO it was just lucky nothing went wrong.

As posted on the Safety Forum earlier, a friend of mine was close to his little electric and instead of losing fingers, he now is without a right eyes as a result of a mishap with the heli.

Don't know about you but "I" would not chance catching a heli with my hands. Just my two cents.

Yeah, catch something moving, operated by radio waves that can receive interference, with sharp spinning blades. Maybe some retards don`t care about losing a finger or two, but what if it hit his crotch and someone else had to service his girlfriend from now on...

My motto:

Always assume the worst.
Always plan for the worst.
Always HOPE for the best.

I live by this so that I am that much more motivated to be that much more tedious on inspecting and prepping my helis. That way, the "worst" is minimized.
