Your probably better off just getting on the MA list. They will hold one for you and no deposit is required. Although if they are getting kits from the first batch they should have them soon. The list is for batch 2.

I honestly see nothing wrong with the deposit be non-refundable? If you are indeed "serious" about getting one of these kits it should not matter in the least.
It also protects Jeremy. Why pee off serious purchasers with a bunch of "good intentions" from peeps who will never buy it or can not afford it? That way the list is a serious purchase list........great for all involved.

After all..........this is NOT the Aurora...........this MA heli WILL be released very soon. LMAO

The problem I see with nonrefundable is that if the heli is dealyed months or the retailer decides to charge more for the kit than the competition, or perhaps the retailer makes you buy a "Kit" including a bunch of things you may not need. Than you have lost your money..

to the best of my memory, in the 21 years that Miniature Aircraft has been manufacturing their own models, the only one that was never released after having been actively marketed was the Triumph. If you have some of the old catalogs you may find references to it but it was never in full production.

The Bandit 450 will be shipping soon and the 50 nitro is starting production so its only a few months away.

And maybe the Beam........at one time to be known as the MA Beam

Don't get me wrong, I've been flying MA since 1991 and will continue to, I love 'em.

the difference is they are still producing a 450 class model. There were too many issues that surfaced with the Beam so they designed the Bandit in house (which went through several names before it was released)

When the Triumph was shelved there was no equivalent class model released.

Don't you wish these people would set a release date that they could actually meet? I would rather them set a release date that is further out than it should be so that they can release on time or maybe even move up the release date......not push it back. I'm not singling out MA on this thing, every manufacturer out there seems to do it.

To my knowledge MA has not set a release date at all. Only speculation and third hand accounts. MA hasn't promised this to be out to anyone on a specific date.

Where are people getting these dates from? If MA has not set a date yet then all is good.

Yeah, MA doesn't set dates from what I can tell. Usually, people close to the company can hypothesize based on what they're seeing but that's about it.

It is from Cyndi at Miniature Aircraft, not someone close to the company!

I wasn't referring to what Cyndi said but instead to what I personally heard from reps in the past few months. Even still, it's not worth getting worked up over. It's be here when it's ready.
