I'm using JR 8717 servos on everything except the tail Futaba 9256.
What is a good servo for the throttle as far as speed is concerned to match the collective? Can someone advise a JR and a Futaba. Seems a waste to put a 8717 on the trottle. I read somewhere a Futaba 9254 was good, but wasn't that a tail rotor servo with the Futaba GY601 gyro?
Thanks
Rich

If you use a fast servo just consider finding one that will work at 6.0 volts so you don't need a step down. I think the futaba 9650 is a good choice for speed and price and its rated for 6 volts.

I am using a 9650 on 6v for throttle and it works great with jockey governor.

You need an adapter for that servo. Here it is:

I'm running 9254 at 6v on my N9 and both my Knights without problems. As long as you run a regulator it'll be fine.

8717 all around on 6V. They are just as fast as a 9254, cheaper and will work on 6V.
