I GOT IT !! I GOT IT!!

I FEEL REALLY STUPID NOW!!

THE THROTTLE SERVO IS GLITCHING AFTER THROTTLEING UP!!

NOW HOW DO I FIX IT? No other servos are doing it. I have to go to work right now but after I'm done first thing I''l do is put a different servo in.

Is there something that could be causing it to glitch other than a bad servo?

I can't believe how I beat myself up over this problem!!

bad servo

I had exactly the same thing happen on my Benzin. Bad throttle servo appeared after a few flights. Drove me nuts for a couple of minutes. I replaced it and all is smooooooth now.

daggit I have a question for you, actually a couple.....
1st what receiver are you using with your 8103?????
I fly 8103 with my x-cell and i had a jr549 fm receiver running a fut gy501 gyro with a jr 8417 dig servo and this is what i found out......
! i had a very bad cross glitching problem that messed with the throttle ( the servo would actually wiggle back and fourth Without the engine running . it was worse once i actually fired it up. servo arm would just wiggle back and fourth like crazy.

2nd. I'd get a crazy out of nowhere dip in the pitch the darn thing would just drop 2-3 feet out of the blue.....

3rd. the tail rotor servo would quiver back and fourth just like the throttle servo. i used a fut 9205, hitec 925, jr 4735. and finally the jr8417.
actually the dig servo went crazy.......

I called horizon service and the stated they had a problem with that receiver and that they would sent me a jr 649pcm to replace it ......
installed it and all glitching problems solved

I was running deans antenna on the 549fm. i run conventional antenna on the pcm and am glitch free.....

one other note. the 8103 has flight mode trims that will drive the gyro crazy....... you may have rudder trim offset and not even know it.......

I know you centered your rudder trim in normal mode but check your other flight modes like this.......
turn on your transmitter only , toggle your flight mode switch from normal to idle up 1 and watch your rudder trim on the screen . if it's off center it will cause your gyro to wag or hunt. check all your modes and throttle hold also. this liked to drove me crazy till i fiqured it out . i would take off in normal then switch to idle 1 and the gyro would go weird start wandering and wagging. I would hold a little rudder override the gyro land , reset the gyro everything would be fine. i would take off switch to idleup1 and it would start all over again.....

I hope this helps.
