Which is the quietest muffler our of the hatori and the MP5 ?

I have always liked the Hatori style mufflers better. I think they are quieter, sound better, and produce excellent power. Another option you should consider is the RJX muffler. It is very similar to the Hatori SAB50/522 in size and performance, but it costs less.

Nothing on the market beats an MP5/50 for being quiet,however you do suffer a slight mid to highend power issue loss.The MP5/50 only works well at highend rpm's and the governor has to be on like donkey kong to sustain that.Now bare in mind,I do run the Hyper 50 with the MP5/50 and I have noticed this.This is only My opinion.I believe that what I have seen and heard is that the RJX muffler is by far the best bang for the buck,not so noisey either,works great with todays high performance engines,OS,YS,TT,etc.Good luck on your choice.what is most important is to get what works best for you and your setup and HAVE FUN!!

I was at a field in Houston last month & saw a guy flying a Rap 90 with a Hatori pipe on it. I was amazed at how quiet it was. I have the MP2 on both my 50 and 90 and they are noticeably noisier. I've heard the MP5's are quieter. Not sure if they are as quiet as the Hatori though. Is the RJX pretty much they same sound level wise as the Hatoris?

The RJX muffler sounds very similar to the Hatori SAB50/522. I had the Hatori SAB50 on my YS50 when I had my K3D, so I know first hand how each muffler performs. I now have the RJX muffler on the same YS50 in my Xtreme 50 and the performance is just as stellar as the Hatori muffler. The RJX muffler is great for the price. It is considerably less than the Hatori SAB50, yet it performs and sounds just as well.
