After piling in my N9 on a terminal tailslide last Sunday,I got me a set of new skids.I didn't even notice I installed the new ones till I flipped it over to work on it.We're gonna call these ribbed for my pleasure
They're consiterably more rigid.Good revision.
Should help with the sliding autos!!!

Interestingly enough these are the skids that came in my kit, I guess they are a V2 (i.e., revised) part?

... will work for fuel ... Bill

I have seen that for quite along time. I feel that these new landing gears are more brittle because I have broken a few of them. I love the old ones better.

The new skids are much more durable than the old ones. The helicopter does not sag sitting on the bench and they are able to take hard landings much better now. However, just like any other skids, they will break if over stressed.
Avoid full negative pitch while in idle up, this could flatten almost any skid out there not to mention a possible boom strike. Sounds funny but I've witnessed quite a few pilots breaking skids due to things like this.
