Just finishing the X2 and acouple question:

Are 95mm tail blades ok? (Just sport fly. I bought these, now see some using longer ones. Size is not specified in the manual.)

Thanks, Joe....

They're okay

But probably not optimal. I know Chachin used or uses 95mm without any problems. I have used SAB 106mm, SAB 100mm, vBlades 105mm. With my gyro and power combo (12s PowerJazz, TP 3850mah, JR770, Actro 32-3 at 11.37:1) with a 1950 HS, SAB 100mm seem to hold just fine.

Hello Joe, yes I've been flying 95mm V-blades in the tail since day one and haven't had any problems with them. I'm sure 100mm/105 provide more tail authority but I haven't felt the need to swap them out yet, especially with the GY-611. I will give them a try later on though.

Sport flying should be no problem for 95's. Good luck!

Chachin..

I had 690's and 10's on mine and the 95's were fine.
With 710's on 10's I needed the 105's.
12's I needed the 105's with both size blades.

As long as you are not banging it around pretty hard the 95's will do just fine.
