HDX 500SE owners can you kindly post what throttle and pitch curve values you are using for normal and idle mode.

Because I'm not sure if I have mine right. I am using the values from my T-rex 450 and T-rex 500.

Throttle
Normal : 0 INH 53 73 84 INH 100
Idle : 100 INH INH 90 INH INH 100

Pitch
Normal : 35 INH INH 50 INH INH 100
Idle : 0 INH INH 50 INH INH 100

Thanks guys...

I posted a simular question and knowbody replied.
Ive put a good few flights in now and this is how Ive got my setup sorted out ok with a bit of tinkering around the edges still to go.
normal whatever, I got 70% at my middle point and 100 at the top, that modes only used to get of the ground and stop the rotor at th e end so who gives a s876t about that mode.

idleup1 and idleup2 are both about 10 degrees positive and ten degrees negative with zero at mid stick, about 10 degrees swash, Im finding this is fine for hard flips and rolls, actually I am reasonably impressed by what im getting from this heli so far, actually make that very, it seems as good as any 50 i have flown, im new to e things.

Throttle curves..

Idle1 100 80 80 80 100. This seems fine for normal high speed flying flips, rolls, stallturns and all that stuff, maybe headspeed is slightly too high, could just use 80% all points.

Idle2 100 100 100 100 100. just to be safe, headspeed is a little to fast so only use this mode for very aggressive stuff.

please bare in mind that im running a 3700 4s that came whith the heli and because I dont know what it is, im guessing its only an 18c and if running a 20c or 25c burst pack this may make my throttle curves to high, but I simply cant comment on this as I know nothing about e things, all I can say is that I had a trex for my first heli about 4 years ago, I just ran 100% in my idle up because I knew no better and it seemed to fly better, that speedy and motor lasted at least 12 months before packing in, by the way my mystery 4s 3700 pack its black if anyone can help me out on this, it looks like a polyquest but without those cooling holes in the sides and I dont think polyquest do 3700.

I keep forgeting to set my timer, but i would say im flying about 5 - 8 minutes without any power drop, my pack is sometimes frighteningly hot at the end, I dont know whats exceptable, whats more surprising is that my last flight was probly the most agressive so far yet my pack was not too hot, be interested to know what t curves others are running, maybe I dont need it so high.

Thanks for your input Spitfire. I will try your settings and let's see what happens. I'm runnining my heli on a 4s 4100mAh Hextronix G2 lipo from hobbicity.com. I always time mine for 8 mins flight time. These lipos are great never get hot or even warm after each flight.
I will update you later.
