Hi Guys,

Has anybody out there ordered a Lightning CNC Metal Penta or Quad Rotorhead from RCMachine? It will be a month on Tues the 15th since I ordered, and paid by PayPal, for one Penta-Rotorhead for my Trex 450 and a day later I ordered, and paid by PayPal, for a Quad-Rotorhead for my Trex 600E. I sent them a message concerning the shipment of both my Penta and Quad heads, after not receiving them after three weeks! I again sent them a second message concerning the shipment a few days ago. As of today I have not received the heads or an answer back! Has anybody else out there had this problem with RCMachine? I bought them off of RCMachine's EBay store for the "Buy it Now" price. I am beginning to get a little bit concerned about the purchase! Thanks.

Hi Richard, I placed an order for a Roto Head at RCMachine on April 4 and I have heard nothing from them. Maybe too soon!!!!!!!!

I had ordered a 4-bladed one awhile back and it took less that two weeks to arrive, but it was from another Hong Kong company! I sure hope it arrives pretty soon, as I have already made a sizable investment in the blades and a Captron Rigid for one and the new SK360 for the other! Thanks.

Richard
how is that rigid system working out?
I am considering purchasing one but the price is steep.
It does seem to offer more than the rest for scale and AP, which is what I am after.
I also have a SK-360 sitting in front of me, hoping to get it hooked up and programmed this afternoon. Will have to wait for the rain to let up to test it out. I am using it with a lightning heli quad head for a 450 size.
I also ordered from someone else and it arrived in about 5 days (flying-hobby).

I haven't tried the HeliCommand Rigid yet as I am still waiting for my Quad-Rotorhead from RCMachine!! I have a Lightning Quad-Rotorhead that I initially put on my Trex 450, but the shaft was drilled so far out of align that it was useless! I am hoping for better results with my Penta-Rotorhead for my Trex 450 and the new Quad-Rotorhead for my Trex 600E! I would be interested in hearing back from you as to how your SK360 works out! Thanks.

I had the same issue in my quad head, I replaced the shaft and dropped it into a dragonus. Just marked the swash follower so I could place it back in the same spot, so far the phasing seems correct.
I have the SK-360 installed and set-up just need the weather to cooperate so I can test fly it.

Flying Glass,

So, it was just an out-of-round shaft? Maybe, I can salvage mine too! Thanks.

Mine came with a main shaft that had the hole at the bottom (where the one way attaches), way out of position. I just replaced with a new shaft and dropped it in. any 5mm shaft will work

Well guys, I finally had to file a dispute through PayPal! Funny, they responded the next day! However, all they gave me was a bunchg of "mealy mouth excuses"! They say that Lightning Heli has a problem with their new Quad-Rotorhead for the Trex 600E, and they have to remanufacture them! I have sent an email to Lightning Heli to see if that is true, but of course, as usual I have not heard anything back from them either! They also said that the Penta-Rotorhead was now available and that they would send one right out! I wonder why they sold me both a Quad-Rotorhead for the Trex 600E and Penta-Rotorhead for the Trex 450 if they did not have them available for sale? Working with those Hong Kong companies is a major nightmare!! They did offer to give me my money back or wait until the Quad-Rotorhead for the Trex 600E becomes available. I still have not decided which way to go, as buying one from Century or OF would cost $500-$600!!
