Was wondering if anybody has tried the 460t Gyro yet.
If so what do you think of it?

Am thinking about trying one out in a scale ship, and was thinking about the 460since I don't really need a super HH gyro for scale.

It's just okay

I have about a gallon on mine, and am going to switch back to my CSM400.

Dislikes:
Piro rate SUCKS!!
HH seems to be worse than the normal mode.
Iinstructions / Directions

Likes:
very small package! I was able to get mine on a shelf right next to the main shaft.
Non-HH mode is excellent. Mine doesn't drift at all.

If you want it for you scale ship, and don't want HH, I think you'll enjoy it. If you're looking for something to do 3D with....stay away.

A friend of mine has one in a JR Voyager 50 with an 8700g servo and hasn't had any problems. Holds well in fast forward flight. We have found it drifts slighty though.

I have a friend who has one of these and likes it a lot.

Toad, what are you rudder ATVs set at?
And what are your rudder dual rates set at? What's the "high" percentage and what's the "low" percentage?
I think there's a good chance we can fix the piro rate problem.

Also, about non-hh being drift-free, that's cool, but it just means your revo mixing is right on. It's drift in HH mode that can be hard to get rid of. What happens after you trim it to hold straight in HH mode?

Well I ordered one yesterday, we'll see how it works out.
Its oging in a long ranger, so I really don't need HH. Rate mode should be fine.
Can't see to much wild 3D in the Long Ranger...

Hey Freestyle

I took it out of my chopper and put in the old CSM (which I'm very happy with).

I didn't have any revo mix when I was using the 460T

If I try it again, I'll try to give you and email. Maybe you can figure it out. The local group was unsuccessful.
