Where in Denver?

Reaper, not sure where you are in Denver, but if you're close enough to Wads and 92nd, the Hobby Town there had a couple Pantera's in stock last time I looked. You could get your hands on one there if you want to get the feel of the kit unbuilt.

When I asked, they said they expected to start carrying parts when they sold the kits, but when I was there last 2-3 weeks ago I didn't see any yet. I didn't realize, but it looks like they're only one in Denver:

Ironically, the kits used to be in Ft Collins, I went back expecting to take one home a couple of months ago and learned they'd sent them to the Westminster store.

Cool i think i will go check that store out, it sure would be nice if a store carried a full line of heli parts that was not a trex or raptor...

Your going to love the Pantera. Assembly is fast and flying is like it's on rails. I can't wait to know how well it flys in Denver with the high alt.

yeah i would like to find out myself. i wonder if i will go with a .60 size engine or just stay with a .50 i wouls like to put a4 blade main and a 4 blade tail rotor on it, so im wondering if the .50 will be big enough, sur will be nice to have the option to drop in a .60 if i would need it though.

Fly it with a 50 and get used to it. Enjoy it and just fly. Later start fiddling with it, or maybe buy a second with which to experiment and do things like multi-blade rotor head, etc. so you keep one flying to perfect your skills.

My 2¢

I ran across this thread an thought I would let you know that we do have 3 sets of the most common parts for the Pantera at our Westminster HobbyTown USA store. Sorry that you got bad information from one of our employees. Our Helicopter expert is Mark and he is in on Saturdays if you need any help with setup.
