| just flew the 1907 8s swift 16 tonight with a castle hv45 in it. the over heating motor problem is gone.5.5 minute flight of medium flying and the motor was under a 100 ferenheit, just how it was before i put the century esc in it.
So my conclusion is that neu motors and century esc do not like each other.
I've heard of some people haveing overheating problems with 1907's in swifts,i'm thinking they must be running century esc's.
I have 2 1907's and both run cool on castle esc's,and they're both being worked hard,my 8s swift is running 550 widechords at 2300 headspeed and 14/14 pitch, and getting 5 minutes on 3200 pack,
my other 1907 was in my gohbee phazor 600 that weighed 7.5 pounds, motor cool as could be,I just installed that 1907 in a trex 600e it should be close to the swifts 6 pounds i'm thinking, should be awesome. |
