I have called Canopy FX twice in the last few days and emailed them also and can't get a response from them for a quote.
Bill from Arizona Helis answers all my emails within 20 mins.
So now I can tell who is serious about painting canopies.
Anyway I guess I now understand some of the negitive posts I see in regards to some of these painters.
Interesting that I haven't seen a negitive post about Arizona Heli.
Now I know why.

Used to get an answer from Danielle within hours. Now I too have sent an e-mail 4 days ago and no answer. I wanted to know where my products were at, but have recieved them yesterday.

I wish I could fly 24/7

I have also e-mailed Joe to purchase matching fins for a canopy I bought and he answered the first one with the price. When I e-mailed him back to place the order, I got no response. I e-mail 2 more times asking if he got the order and I'm still waiting for an answer!!!!

Joe is traveling (on the road) right now. I talked to his wife today they are just swamped. I'm sure they will try very hard to get to everyone. Just be a little patient. I guarantee you it will be worth the wait!!

Sorry guys I have been slacking on the email lately. I have been busier than a one legged rocket. We have had the phoenix fun fly, the vegas fun fly and the efexpo on out plate. Not only that my son was in the hospital with pneumonia, and that shut us down completely for a week and a half. We always try to answer within 24 hours, most of the time sooner but when my son went down I knew where I had to be and nothing else mattered. Now that he is all better we are back in the shop and at it hard to catch back up, this too caused delays in email response. Again I am sorry.

I was sure their was a good reason for this, because I have always received en excellent service for Joe and Danielle. I think we went off the top too fast, problem is that when you are used to a 20 minute answer than waiting 1 or 2 days, which is usually normal from others, that we just panic. Thanks for letting us know that everything is fine and that I could, and will, keep doing business with you guys. Have a great summer.

What we are seeing here is the difference between a professional and an amatuer operation.
I understand that things come up and happen, and I also understand that familiy always comes first. But now that I understand that Canopy FX is a sideline operation I will spend my money at a professional full time operation.
The bottom line is that you pay extra for service. And to that end I don't mind spending the extra cash.

This hobby business is a side line for most company owners! There are very few that grow to support full time operations, buildings and employees. My business started from a side line 22 years ago. I know there are a lot of rocks and holes in the road to buildings,employees and employee benefits.

There is never a time that selecting family over a model helicopter canopy is a bad choice. In this case I vote for Joe as I know George you can find another canopy and buy it that is your choice. And I understand your opinion the customer needs to believe he is always right in his own mind.

Every company wants to appear to be bigger than they are and with the internet it is very easy. We all just want it now and refuse to wait even for a minute today. We have seen Canopy FX grow and keep up the good work Joe.

This is my side line business for over 10 years now. Every so often a customer like you comes along that wants me to put you in front of my family and personal needs. As I said in the PM to you in private, I do not want your business. 99.9% of the people in this hobby as caring and understanding people.

I want to make one thing clear to you George, I do this because I love it, 10 years of loving RC helicopter people. I am one of a very few painters that go to the RC shows, Why??? To meet the people. And weither you believe it or not I remember each and every one of them. My wife has the same passion for it that I do, she loves talking to people and learning about this world.

Remember the old soda shop on the corner where you went to BS with the owner and eat ice cream. That is how I run my business. I am not a Target or a walmart, and I never want to be. I have canopies in over 200 hobby shops and you know what bugs me the most george??? People buy them and I never get to talk to them.

So please go where ever, Bill does excellent work and I would recommend him over any one else out there.

I am sorry the rest of the community has to read this but when it comes to my family, that .1% has pushed too much

I purchased 2 canopys from canopy fx at the pheonix funfly and i am very satisfied with the products and the price!!! they will have my buisness for life.keep up the nice work.
