I see people flying on 4, 5 and 6 cells on this heli. The reviews I read said it was ballistic on 4 cells. I do not want to run 6 cells but might fly on 5 cells if it is worth it. My question is what is the difference between 4 to 5 cells and why would you want to go more cells. I like to fly a combo of 3D/FAI. Not sure what moves would be to demanding if any on 4 cells but see most people fly on more. Any input would be appreciated.

I've flown 4s and then moved to 5s. 5s has more power which makes the helicopter really jump with collective input. (actually, I'd say a lot more jump) It's crazy fun to fly. AND it doesn't lose it's ability to fly smoothly. The drawback is that 5s batteries are more expensive for the same flight time...a 3700 pack is $169 as I recall. Tom

2 + 2 = 5 for extremely large values of 2.

Is the extra collective jump worth it. My only experience with electrics is 450 size. Last year I flew 50 and 90 size nitros but want to get back in electrics again. How does the extra "POP" help out as I have heard it is excellent on 4 cells but only want to buy one motor setup and stick with it.

Positively---it is spectacular. I hesitated, went with 4s, and swapped up very soon thereafter. Tom
