Hey anyone know the width of the original Kavan Jet Ranger transmission belt I got one and it seems to wide,not sure but I want to make sure because it was an expensive belt, Thanks all you rotor heads Mac

Thats weird. I can assure you mine is a stock belt from a NIB kit though.

GMP, its a very strange size, I called all over and never found a commercial source for them. I'll see if I can find this one guys email address, he borrowed mine and had a sleeve made and the ones I have are kevlar threaded now.

Or maybe you could trim the 12mm belt width to 8mm with a Balsa Stripper:

Hi There,
I a have a belt in the spares I got with my one. It's 8mm wide and has the reference Bando T5-295 TL It has 59 Teeth.
Bando are from Singapore and supply belts to Hirobo, Quick UK, TSK used them for MyStar 30 (Same as Shuttle)and the early MyStar 60 (short boom) models.
I have bought equivilent belts to the TSK in the UK from transmission component company.
Hope this helps
