e-Electric General Discussion > My Walkera 4#3 - Removing the Toyish Look and Making it More like a Real Heli.

Ok here is my totally revamped Walkera 4#3 with some upgrade parts from MIA, to make it more robust and to trick me into thinking I am flying a larger heli, but in reality at a very tiny scale.

I did all this because I really like the Walkera 4#3 product except for some minor things, some parts that are weak and wanting a more realistic look.

This is a stock version but the MIA G10 frame for it takes the better Losi brushless motors and has stronger boom, direct Drive, new canopy and decals. Also has a new alu rotor head mod.

That is cool!

I have had one a couple of months now with no major damage (because it's light) I have added a heat sink to a new main motor and cut 3mm off the trailing edge of the main rotor blades and she's flying really nice!!

yeah the Walkera 4#3, is one nice tiny helicopter, stock, eventually some of the parts wear off but that is acceptable, as with any product. Your's probably has an increased rotor RPM due to the fact you trimmed the trailing edge and it probably flies smoother too?

Thanks for sharing...... been a while since hitting that site. Just ordered the MIA G10 Frame/LG. Think those canopies are on schedule for the next week or two?

It flies a little more stable because the frame has provisions for adjusting the battery location more precicely and cleanly, and looks more realistic, due to the new look.

Also, some folks are using the Losi tiny brushless Excelorin motors for more speed, duration.

Use MIA Micro-FLIGHT Email at the web site, under "Contact Us", to communicate with them, it is very fast and easy. Don't take it personal, MIA is busy most of the time making the cool upgrades, or designing new ones, plus a full time job, so this is the reason MIA prefers to take orders via their web site or email. All the Walkera 4#3 Upgrade products MIA sells have paypal tags and pricing and they are up on the web site, if they have a price tag, they are ready to ship. Next week there will be more upgrades.
