I took the Vbar E Synergy out to the feild yesterday.
after changing the sensor mount and some wiring around, i spooled it up and hovered it in front of me a few mins to see if it was going to act ok. well it was smooth as glass, and Vbar seemed to work better than it ever had on it... so i land it change packs out and go to spool up again and the vert. tail fin is shaking like a dog
crappin' razor blades.... i thought the hub or out putg shaft might have been causing it so i changed it out but no good...
i haven't pulled the boom yet but everything feels smooth when i spin the rotor head by hand... not sure what i need to look for on it. any pointers?
thanks

Chuck,
I am ignorant of the V-Bar somewhat and wanted to know. Does the V-Bar act as a tail gyro as well as the rest it does???

If all else is smooth I am assuming the vibes are localized to the tail section then. If so my first place to look would be the thrust bearings and/or radial bearings. A notchy bearing will sure make the tail do what you describe.

yeah it controlls all three axis...
i took it apart and greased the thrust bearings when i put the new hub on it.. thats a thought tho...
hey you'll get to see it live in person this weekend... few of us from Tulsa will be at the funfly this weekend...
thanks for the tip...

May sound funny but check your boom supports to make sure they are still glued in securely. I've see bad vibrations occur from this.
Medium CA works the best on boom supports.... make sure you lightly sand the end of carbon rod before assembling.
For Nitro N9 helis, another symptom of unsecure boom supports is a motor that sounds like it has an oscilation in it at full negative or positive collective.

well i checked everything over and all felt good but i noticed one ball link on the pitch slider was slightly tighter feeling than the other. so i squeezed it with a pair of needle nose pliers. it was pretty smooth today. i'll have a video up in a bit...
thanks for the tips...
