Following on track history in the industry related to the first public showing f a "prototype" to the final availability to us mere mortals - it should be available within 6 to 18 months.

The only big exceptions to this general rule in recent memory is the 3 years it took the Synergy N9 to hit the consumer from its first public viewing and that of the still unseen Avant.

I saw the prototype at the Weak Signals Toledo Show this past weekend. It looked interesting, but not something I'll be trying anytime soon. I should have taken pics...but didn't.

Any verbal description of the Century 700? Anything about it that really got your attention?

The only thing that really caught my attention was the motor on it. It wasn't your typical sized brushless motor, it was short, with a ton more width than anything I've seen before. I'll admit, I'm not huge into electrics, but this wasn't your typical sized motor. That's really the only thing that really stuck out in my mind.

So the motor was more like a pancake than a normal outrunner?

The motor that is shown in those pics is completely different than what was on it at Toledo.

Any yes....it didn't have the height of a normal outrunner. Shorter and wider than what a normal outrunner looks like.

Looks good!

Heli in the video had different grips! and the vid was only 3 minutes!

The old eRaptor 600 on 10S used to sound like that and would rip for 7 minutes.
