Hi
I know it is probably me, but i let someone have a go on my model today and they did an Auto, as they flared and landed they caught the tail blades thus ripping them,i am using the RADIX 105cm

I have never caught the tail on an Auto, and the Auto looked a normal flare, well i got it back to the pits and put it on the bench,
we measured the tail blades to the fin, the tail fin is only 4.5 cm longer than the tail blades, on the old venture they are 7cm difference.. which is why it caught them out..

So i am gonna make up a wire support and epoxy to the tail fin, unless they do a bigger tail fin..

Matt

I bought mymother in law a chair for xmas, but she would not plug it in.

Have had some harder landings with my avro and never had problems with my tail blades hitting the ground.

As you allready mention, maybe you just had bad luck and the place where you landed was a stone or something staking out of the ground?

If you push the tail down the ground you see that there is enough space between the tail blades and ground.

Regards,
Dave
