| natew.com also has extensive tips on building the Freya.
My advice after owning a Freya for a year and crashing it more times than I care to remember;
- If you're using an OS, get a header tank.
- Junk the stock clunk line fuel tubing that comes with it. If you don't do it right, you will get a flameout while inverted.
- Change the vertical tail fin to a X-Cell part. The stock one is BAAAD and will cause you numerous bent tail blades, shafts and holders.
- Get the optional EX switch plate (404-633) so you can reach the switch easier instead of prying the canopy to reach it.

Download the altech newsletter at the hiroboeagle egoup, look for it in the group's "Files".
ONLY when the stock units wear out should you opt to get the metal upgrades like metal washout guide pin and holder. The 3rd bearing block described on the newsletter is also good, but better saved for later when you can tell the difference flying with or without one. |
